One of our clients was underwhelmed with their fireworks provider. We brought in a new supplier who delivered a dynamic, packed 15-minute fireworks and pyro show that was fully choreographed to music chosen by the client - and for £1,000 less than the previous supplier.
REBUILDING THE
EMPIRE
One of the UK's most prominent Students' Unions was unable to recruit for a vacant Events/ Entertainments Manager role at a time when trade was suffering.
We were brought in to support the team with their entertainment programming. Happily, over a successful two year period, trade recovered to allow budget for reinstating the Events/ Ents Manager role and we continue to support them in a smaller capacity.
Consistency and efficiency
A client was struggling with repeated unprofessional conduct by two of their three long-standing regular DJs. We undertook a visit during their weekly event to understand the demographic and atmosphere better before putting in more reliable and better-suited DJs. The added bonus is that all three DJs are now paid via one invoice, saving time on POs and payments.
Headline talent for 33% less
We rarely see clear examples of saving money on headline artists due to privacy around bookings, but we discovered a Students’ Union booked an artist for £15k for their end-of-year Ball, while we booked the same artist at £10k per show for the same type of event during the same month.
Alongside over a decade of increasing buying power, we did this by leveraging our wide involvement with clients across the country to orchestrate three dates for the same artist at three separate venues within the same offer. We work hard to achieve fair fees for our clients and artists, saving time and money. We strongly feel that paying a fair fee benefits artists in the long run too by improving reputation, longevity, and repeat bookings.
An added bonus is that we feel like we ‘pay our own wages’ through savings.. win win!
OUTSOURCING OPERATIONS
Due to staffing issues, one Students' Union just didn't have the capacity within their team to feel confident in delivering their Freshers events programme. We stepped in to lead the project from concept to delivery, drafting in a number of our Pro's in the process.
We delivered on bookings, planning documents, stakeholder management and operational support during the events.
Foxpro Events to the rescue!
Following the unexpected departure of an Events Manager from their role, one Students’ Union Chief Exec called us out of the blue in desperate need of support with arranging and delivering their events plans
By the end of the week, we had the rest of that terms’ events booked in and it was the beginning of a long and fruitful working relationship.
Steadying the ship
A long two years of decline in trade, and a painful resulting restructure programme, led to one venue having really lost its way with event content, operational delivery, budget control, and general input into their events that would lead them to success.
We stepped in to help, bringing with us a wealth of experience and ideas, providing a better structure to their approach and delivering steady improvements to their attendances and revenue.

On a Friday at 15:27, a resident DJ messaged in unwell for their gig that night. By 15:44 a suitable replacement DJ was found before the client even knew there was any issue, and one that they immediately accepted.
